Prestigious world showcase for Piadina Romagnola PGI. The symbolic product of Romagna was a guest of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry in the recent G7 held in Puglia. Piadina Romagnola PGI was in fact among the 20 certified products invited by Origin Italia to represent the excellence of Italian PDO and PGI products to the international press.
In the presence of the president of the Consortium for the Promotion and Protection of Piadina Romagnola, Alfio Biagini, the Piadina Romagnola PGI was tasted by numerous accredited journalists from all over the world. Two versions prepared by the gastronome Carla Brigliadori: combined with Parma ham PDO and with Sicilian red orange marmalade PGI combined with Apulian mozzarella.

It is not every day that Piadina Romagnola PGI is presented to such an illustrious international audience as the press that follows the events of the most important figures on earth. In our way we have made people ‘taste’ and get to know a piece of Romagna with the hope that one day some of them will be able to come to our land and ask to eat a Piadina Romagnola PGI directly in the place where it was born.”
