Legnano (Milan), 30 June 2024 – They were arguing for reasons yet to be clarified and when the manager of the place intervened to try to calm the dispute who got the worst of it, as often happens in these cases, was precisely this last “peacemaker”, hit with a telescopic metal truncheon on the head: the episode happened shortly after midday today at the Circolo Pertini in the Mazzafame district, in via dei Salici. After an argument that started inside the Pertini Center between two people – adults and regulars at the club – and that’s it continued outside the restaurant in via dei Salici, the club coordinator, a fifty-year-old, finally intervened to try to calm the two individuals down after one of the two contenders hit him on the head with an iron bar, evidently found near the club.
An ambulance from the White Cross of Legnano intervened on the scene and the 50-year-old was taken to the emergency room of the Legnano hospital for initial treatment and to treat the lacerated wound on his head: the man was however always conscious. Officers from the Legnano Police Station also intervened on site: the bar used to injure the man has not yet been traced and the officers are continuing their investigations to trace the perpetrator of the crime.
