European football championships: Puglia is home to the Azzurri in Germany

Tourism, the Italian Media Plan of the Regional Tourism Department / Pugliapromozione kicked off with the European Football Championship match in Iserlohn, Germany, where Spalletti’s Azzurri won against Sylvinho’s Albania. The match against Spain will follow scheduled for June 20th and, therefore, the last match against Croatia, on June 24th in Leipzig. On 30 June the group winner will play the round of 16 match against one of the best third-placed teams.

It is in this international context of the 2024 European Football Championships that, as part of the Italy Media Plan, Puglia has chosen to be present in the communication spaces and services in the role of institutional partner of the men’s national football team.

In ‘Casa Azzurri’ and on the digital channels there will be the hashtag WeAreinPuglia accompanied by our institutional coats of arms: we share with an international audience the closeness and support of our land to the boys who will take to the pitch, to the staff, to our fans and to all the Italian professionals involved in this great football competition. Furthermore, we will have a social advert on Puglia with some national team favorites as exceptional testimonials. Sporting events allow us to convey our values ​​of welcome and hospitality, of a healthy, inclusive and sustainable destination, in line with the spirit of solidarity and sharing typical of football and this European Championship. Naturally, good luck to Italy.”

The Puglia brand as part of “Casa Azzurri” will be both on the national team website and in the headquarters displays, in the European Championship promotion channels as well as in the video that will be created and disseminated on social channels, which has a community of 16 million followers.

In short, until 14 July the 2024 European Football Championships will also have Puglia playing on multiple “fields” thanks to the brand communication strategy of the regional Tourism Department / Pugliapromozione.
