Pescara, the Drug Market operation against drug dealing continues: three raids over the weekend

PESCARA – Three anti-drug dealing operations were carried out in a few days by the soldiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Pescara as part of the “Drug Market” action plan. With three separate sets of flash seizures, the financiers stole marijuana plants, ecstasy tablets and blocks of cocaine and hashish from the illicit drug trafficking market of the Adriatic capital.

The protagonist of the first operation was a thirty-year-old Italian, with no criminal record, who had transformed his house into an indoor greenhouse: inside, 26 cannabis plants in different vegetative states, as well as half a kilo of drug already dried and packaged in heat-sealed vacuum bags. The property had been set up for cultivation with sophisticated lighting, irrigation and air conditioning technologies. The young man was reported at large to the local AG for production and possession of narcotic substances.

In the second intervention, the military stopped a woman found in possession of half a kilo of crystal drugs, of the ketamine-amphetamine type, and 500 “Blue Punisher” ecstasy tablets, the most dangerous synthetic drug on the market. With a percentage of active ingredient five times stronger than a common MDMA tablet, the triangular tablet, with the mold of the skull of the Marvel antihero The Punisher in relief, is very widespread at raves or chem sex parties (sex under the influence of drugs). Taken in excessive doses it causes various contraindications, including serious breathing difficulties. The person responsible was taken under house arrest.

The third operation then led to a seizure against unknown persons, taken after the financiers found, hidden on the roof of a building, drugs such as cocaine and hashish, as well as a scale, a vacuum packing machine and the useful cutting substance to increase the weight of the dose

Investigations continue to reconstruct and dismantle the entire illegal drug supply chain, with the aim of intercepting and blocking supply flows, to protect public health and safety.
