New tender from the University of Palermo for the hiring of administrative staff. Below are the details on the figures, tests and how to apply

The University of Palermo has published a call for selection, with evaluation of qualifications and CV and holding of an interview, aimed at covering a total of three seats full-time and fixed-term, for the duration of 12 months, Area of ​​Officials, to be allocated to the Department of Cultures and Society for a project financed by the Pnrr and dedicated to religious studies.

In particular, the three positions available require three different figures: specifically 1 expert from the scientific-technological sector (Impact Management profile), 1 for the Communication and information sector (Communication Management profile) and 1 for the technical-IT sector ( Criterion profile). Below are the details on the required requirements and the tasks envisaged in the individual roles.

1. Impact Management profile – scientific technological sector
Among the tasks required in the role, the official selected as a technician must support the scientific manager in the following activities: technology transfer; measurement of the impact of the European research infrastructure “Resilience” and definition of a detailed plan based on the Italian context and the specific project (Itserr); definition of a detailed plan and measurement of the impact of the work carried out by the project and its results in quantitative and qualitative terms.

Among the requirements, it is required to have a master’s degree or single-cycle degree in LM-05 Archives and Library Science, LM-10 Conservation of Architectural Heritage, LM-43 IT Methodologies for the Humanities, LM-45 Musicology and Cultural Heritage, LM -52 International Relations, LM‐56 Economic Sciences, LM‐62 Political Sciences, LM‐63 Public Administration Sciences, LM‐64 Religious Sciences, LM‐76 Economic Sciences for the Environment and Culture, LM‐ 77 Economic and business sciences, LM-84 Historical sciences, LM-82 Statistical sciences, LM-88 Sociology and social research, LM-90 European studies, Single-cycle jurisprudence.

Among the required experiences: collaborations with cultural institutes, museums, universities, research centers, incubators. Experience in evaluating the impact of local, national or European projects. Knowledge of the English language is also required.

2. Communication Management profile
The University is also looking for the figure of a Communication expert, to always be included in the same project financed by the Pnrr, in the Officials Area and always with a fixed-term contract of 12 months.

In particular, the figure must support the Scientific Manager in activities such as the drafting of a Communication Plan for the project, implementation of communication, identification of the target “archetypes” of users to whom the project refers, in particular scholars, development and use of new and updated communication tools.

Among the essential requirements, candidates are required to have a degree in one of the following areas: LM-19 Information and Editorial Systems; LM‐43 IT Methodologies for the Humanities; LM-51 Psychology; LM‐52 International Relations; LM‐59 Public, Corporate and Advertising Communication Sciences; Lm‐62 Political Sciences; LM‐63 Public Administration Sciences; LM64 Sciences of Religions; LM-76 Economic Sciences for the Environment and Culture; LM‐78 Philosophical Sciences; LM-84 Historical Sciences; LM‐90 European Studies; LM‐91 Techniques and Methods for the Information Society; LM‐92 Communication Theories; LMg – 01 Single Cycle Jurisprudence.

Experience in the drafting and implementation of communication plans for entities operating in the public, research, technology transfer and innovation sectors is also required. Collaborations with cultural institutes, museums, universities, research centers, religious bodies. Knowledge of the English language required.

3. Technical-IT sector profile
Among the profiles of interest in the announcement, we are also looking for a technical-IT expert.

Between the requirements essential, obtaining a degree in one of the following areas: L-08 Information Engineering; L-31 Computer Science and Technology; LM-18 – Computer Science and LM-32 – Computer Engineering.

Knowledge of the English language and having gained previous experience in collaborations with cultural institutes, museums and universities are also required; in desktop application development, front-end/back-end development, use of the Python programming language.
