The redevelopment of the municipal houses in via Rosselli is almost completed. All that is missing along the new cycle path in via Ospiate is the signage. The maxi project “Rho, the city that changes”, 31 projects financed with Pnrr funds, but not only that, is becoming reality. In recent days, Mayor Andrea Orlandi, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Maria Rita Vergani, the competent councilors and technicians, carried out an inspection of some construction sites started in recent months. In the hamlet of Mazzo, the municipal administrators stopped in via Rosselli at number 4 and number 8 where they are working on the energy requalification and external arrangement of the 88 municipally owned dwellings for a cost of 751,147 euros. And in via Ospiate where a new stretch of cycle path has been created, between via Tommaso Grossi and via Morandi. Both projects are financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan in the “Pinqua Regeneration” Program of the Metropolitan City of Milan, for improving the quality of living.
Present were the Heritage Councilor Nicola Violante, the manager Vittorio dell’Acqua, Giovanni Battista Fumagalli responsible for the procedure, the designer and director of works, architect Riccardo Recalcati, of the companies in charge. In via Rosselli 8, the installation of the new external covering has exceeded 70 percent of the surfaces. In the next few weeks the finishes will be completed, the windows replaced and the photovoltaic systems installed. Even in via Rosselli 4, 70% of the coat finishes are completed, the finishes still need time. Windows and shutters are missing and the roof still needs to be fixed.
As for the new cycle path in via Ospiate, four hundred meters long, next to the houses in via Rosselli, all that is missing are horizontal signs and signs indicating the passage reserved for bicycles and pedestrians. This new section was designed to connect the cycle paths already built, creating a safe route. For example, the lighting poles have been moved to give more space to bicycles and pedestrians. When the works in this part of the hamlet of Mazzo are completed, the fitness area of the park in via Rosselli will also be refurbished with the installation of games for children.
