Success for La Cremonese cycle tourism, a non-competitive cycling event, which blows out its fourth candle this year, and which saw the participation of over 200 people. An unmissable event for two-wheel lovers.
“We reached an important edition and we had a good participation” he comments Daniele Bassi coordinator of the event. The two-day event started on Saturday, but came to life on Sunday, when 4 different tours started, for different categories of enthusiasts: routes of 120, 80 and 60 kilometres, with mountain bikes, with gravel bikes and with road bike.
All four tours were an opportunity to meet new people, socialize, exercise, but also visit the area and admire some historic farmhouses. But the peculiarity of this edition was the choice to donate what was collected toAbio association of Cremona.
“Our associate Pier will leave for the North Cape in the next few days and wanted to associate his company with Abio. This gave us the opportunity to support this cause in turn” explained Bassi.
President Abio was also satisfied, Marina Gerevini, who received the symbolic check donated by Cicloturistica: “Our business is always growing” he said. “People who know us see how we work. All our volunteers, around 35, work in the hospital’s paediatrics, pediatric clinics and child neuropsychiatry. We are close to the hospitalized children and their families.”
For everyone, the conclusion of the tour was Camping Parco al Po in Cremona, where the participants then gathered to have lunch together with cotechino and other typical products. lb
