Holding breath in the province of Isernia and in the community of Filignano for the health of the young 19-year-old who yesterday morning, around 7.30, was involved in the very serious accident which occurred on the Macchia d’Isernia straight, at the crossroads, on the Venafrana state road 85 which connects Isernia and Venafro, where a lorry and the Fiat Punto in which the young electrician was driving collided, due to causes sifting of forces of the order. The condition of the 19-year-old immediately appeared to be very critical, and he was pulled from the wreckage by the firefighters who immediately intervened on site together with the 118 medical staff and the traffic police. The seriousness of the situation therefore required the young man to be urgently transported to the Venice hospital in Isernia where he underwent surgery to stop a haemorrhage in his liver with the intervention of healthcare workers from the Pentra facility which allowed his parameters to be stabilized before to be then transferred by air ambulance to the Cardarelli hospital in Naples, with the coordination of ground operations by the head of resuscitation, Dr. Paola Iuorio, on board an air ambulance that arrived from L’Aquila and landed in the square of the Provincial Fire Brigade Command in the Rio district. Yet another polytrauma due to a road accident, which therefore once again made it necessary to move out of the region.
The young man is in a reserved prognosis at the Campania health facility: his conditions, according to the latest updates yesterday, remain very serious. So much fear, therefore, for yet another road accident on the Molise roads. This time it is a very young 19-year-old from Filignano who is fighting for his life due to the consequences of the accident.
