POZZUOLI – There is no peace in the free car park in via Fasano called “ex Sofer”: for the umpteenth time the cars have been robbed at night by thieves. This morning the nasty surprise fell to a 500, completely devastated by the criminals at the front in the act of removing the headlights and taillights, while the rear windows of a blue sedan were shattered to plunder the interior of the car. As always, the criminals acted undisturbed, in the absence of surveillance cameras (there is only one, but outside) and guards.

THE COMPLAINTS – The commander of the local police of Pozzuoli, Major Silvia Mignone, agrees on the opportunity to warn motorists with a sign. «It is an area that receives attention, but not more dangerous than others. About three years ago, the Puteolan officers stationed in plain clothes in the former Sofer car park chased a “serial” gang, protagonist of numerous thefts, which was then investigated thanks to the images provided to the police. «The local police are active 24 hours a day on multiple shifts – closes Major Mignone –. Certainly in the summer the staff should be increased, as the agents are busy not only on the road: our skills range from trade to state property to judicial notifications and much more.» The commander’s advice is, of course, not to leave any object in the car, but above all to report and report it.
