Naples and Campania weather: the anticyclone Minos arrives. Temperatures will reach up to 35 degrees

The African anticyclone Minos has arrived with the rise of high pressure towards the Centre-South after the rapid transit of moderate instability in recent days.

From today and until the end of the month, at least in southern Italy, temperatures will be constantly increasing with peaks of up to 40 degrees in Sicily already in this month of June. Which suggests a very hot summer.

In Naples and Campania, today some small rain in inland areas, but mainly temperatures around 30 degrees.

From tomorrow they will be increasing with a prevalence of sunshine for two weeks. The highs will begin to rise more consistently on this day in mid-June but the blaze that will arrive from Monday with the African Anticyclone Minos.

The clear skies and high pressure will make the Italian weather ‘fever rise’. On Monday, peaks of 35°C are expected in Puglia and Sicily, 33°C in Campania and Basilicata.
