“It actually happened 3 times in a row that the referee (Piardi, ed.) let the away team win. In 2022 we won in Leinster, last year Munster won in Cape Town, this year Glasgow won in Munster and the away team won in the final. Next year I will ask to have him as a referee when we play away,” White said.
After the joke White became serious again and told all his disappointment after losing the URC by a narrow margin: “I’m damn unhappy and extremely disappointed.
