OttolinaTV and Multipopolare land in Sardinia – Appointment on Saturday 29 June in Cagliari
The first Cagliari presentation of Multipopolare, the OttolinaTV association, will be held on Saturday 29 June, starting from 1pm with a popular lunch, at the Su Tzirculu premises in via Molise 58 in Cagliari. Giuliano Marrucci, founder of Ottolina, will participate.
Ottolina is a non-TV that wants to give voice to 99% of the people.
“In war, the first victim is the truth,” said Aeschylus. And it is now clear to everyone that the Empire, in a desperate attempt to halt its inexorable decline, has chosen the path of total war against the rest of the planet. To ideologically legitimize this last desperate attempt to postpone the collapse of the system of colonial and neocolonial domination, the information industry is transformed into a gigantic propaganda machine, founded on fake news and post-truths functional to a narrative that legitimizes exploitation and barbarism on planetary scale. An operation made even easier by the oligopolistic structure of the media world, where the means of producing consensus are entirely held by the imperialist oligarchies, who impose without resistance a narrative functional exclusively to their particular interests. Against this dystopian and post-democratic drift, however, there are still boundless spaces today to insinuate an alternative narrative, based on facts. But without the means of the financial oligarchies, to allow this alternative narrative to make its way among the popular masses, individual experiences are not enough. Collective work is needed.
It is for this reason that MULTIPOPOLARE was born, the association of the Friends of OttolinaTV and 99%.
