Work to demolish the now infamous building was due to start at the beginning of June “ecommonster” of Portosolebut after more than two weeks nothing has moved in this direction.

However, no more replies have been received from Rome and the demolition works are undergoing further delays: almost two months have now passed which, for a job lasting approximately 75 days, could be a real blow to tourism in the new port, considering that it is now summer started, even assuming that the culling could begin in the next few days, there is a risk of reaching a conclusion with the beginning of autumn, thus damaging the influx in the hot period and especially during the August bank holiday.
It should be underlined that once the works have been completed, new ones will have to begin. The agreement signed between Reuben Brothers and the Common in fact, it involves the construction of various infrastructures including car parks, ramps, connections and green areas.
