The Pnrr in Sardinia: meeting at the Segni Foundation in Sassari

“The PNRR in Sardinia: where we are and what to expect” is the title of the second appointment of the cycle of meetings promoted by the Antonio Segni Foundation. The meeting will be held on Thursday at 4.30 pm in the Sassari headquarters in via Carlo Alberto.

The debate will focus on the huge resources allocated to Sardinia by the PNRR, the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, approved in 2021 by Italy to relaunch the economy. After the January meeting which made it possible to know the amount of resources and the impact on the island’s economy, now it will be the researchers from CRENoS – the North – South Economic Research Center of the Universities of Cagliari and Sassari – who will be involved to know the progress of investments and projects started with PNRR funds.

He will open the works, Giuseppe Meloni, regional councilor for programmingbudget, credit and territorial planning. Marco Niedduprofessor of economic and statistical sciences at the University of Cagliari and CRENoS researcher will paint a picture of Sardinia’s economy in 2023, while the former president of the Region Francesco Pigliarueconomist and researcher at CRENoS will delve deeper into the PNRR gap between regions. Luca Deidda, professor of Economics at the Department of Economic and Business Sciences of the University of Sassari will illustrate the progress of the Pnrr projects in Sardinia, and finally close the works Gianluca CadedduProgram Manager for Ecosystem of Innovation for Next Generation Sardinia (e.INS), a consortium company promoted by Sardinian universities and other regional actors for the implementation and management of the innovation ecosystem in Sardinia, currently the main industrial research program and technological transfer in Sardinia, financed under the PNRR.

The conclusions will be entrusted to the president of the Segni Foundation, Mario Segni. The works will be opened by introductory greetings from the president of the Sardinia Foundation, Giacomo Spissu and by the director of CRENoS, Anna Maria Pinna.
