CIVITAVECCHIA – Blonde curls and black dress. The usual elegance and professionalism. It is impossible not to recognise, in the videos circulating online or live, for those who have been lucky enough to experience it first hand, the violinist from Civitavecchia Maria Letizia Beneduceamong the elements ofFranciacorta Orchestra, at the Baths of Caracalla, an evocative and fascinating setting for the first sold-out concert of the Volo summer tour “Tutti per uno – Capolavoro”, produced by Friends & Partners. The audience responded with overwhelming enthusiasm to the live performance of the trio composed of Ignazio Boschetto, Piero Barone and Gianluca Ginoble.
“An exceptional concert show, with a Hollywood scenographic system and a fantastic orchestra – said Beneduce – of which I was able to be part thanks to the friendship that binds me with the first violin Federica Quaranta”. In fact, it was the musician from Brescia who wanted to propose the Sanremo trio again in the archaeological park, this time female, with Beneduce and her other colleague from Frosinone Claudia Mizzoni.
«We reunited the trio with a “Flight” from Sanremo to Caracalla – said Beneduce, referring to a beautiful story of mutual esteem and friendship – we took part in the opening concert of the tour, then for work reasons we didn’t follow the ‘orchestra, even if we responded to their invitation, trying to intervene in some other stage».
A show, that of Il Volo, which won over the violinist herself, between opera, pop and author music, with an emotional tribute from Ignazio also to Mia Martini.
«Three young boys and therefore full of that vitality that characterizes that age, and with remarkable singing skills – confirmed the musician – today, unlike a few years ago, it is also possible to perceive differences professionally speaking: we grow, the personalities they define themselves and musical ambitions take on their own specificity. Piero, for example, measured himself with very challenging lyrical pieces. We heard him warming up for a long time in the dressing room with his vocal coach. I think Ignazio is the most complete, a showman with great vocal skills but who dresses every role perfectly. An entertainer, even with the public, gifted with irony. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him hosting Sanremo in a few years. And finally Gianluca, the sensitive soul of the trio, refined in his ways, the one who walks in a parallel universe. Dreamer, enchanted: he amazed with his interpretation of the song “Can’t help falling in love” by Elvis Presley”.
Beneduce addressed one final thought to his teacher. «I don’t deny that returning to Caracalla, which saw me engaged for nine consecutive dates together with maestro Ennio Morricone, was exciting – she concluded – indeed, it was not easy to manage these emotions, especially when on the lectern I found “The Ecstasy gold” and “Here’s to you”; it was like re-elaborating mourning, also and above all from a human point of view.”
