It was officially presented the historical cycle La Polverosaninth stage of the Giro d’Italia d’Epoca, an event that aims to revive the golden era of cycling while keeping its history and values ​​alive.

The demonstration that It will be held on June 22nd and 23rd. It will be a non-competitive event that involves the use of vintage bicycles and, with its formula, it will allow participants who are expected from every region of Italy, to be able to explore and discover the immense artistic, historical, cultural and food and wine heritage of the towns surrounding the city of Parma.

The presentation of La Polverosa saw the participation of a large and qualified audience and recorded the speeches of Angelo Mora (President of the ACSI of Parma), Bruno Reverberi (historic sports director and teacher of cycling and life), Giovanni Salvarani (son of Renzo Salvarani, historic patron of the G,S, Salvarani of the years 1963/1972), of the former professional runners Claudio Torelli, Maurizio Vandelli and Claudio Rio, of Daniele Frigeri (Mayor of Montechiarugolo), of Giuseppe Volonnino (writer and cycling historian), of the Parma painter Vittorio Ferrarini, of Claudio Cavazzini (President of the Famija Pranzana), of Silvano Croci (veteran of cycling amateurs and world champion), of Enrico Maletti (poet and writer in Parma dialect), of Maurizio Novellini (Unione Velocipedistica Parma) and Michela Corradi (Veronese cyclist and mascot of the Giro d’Italia d’Epoca).
