In Borgo the party doesn’t want to end. After the victory of the Bigorda, Porta delle Chiavi takes up two categories of flags: the Big and Small team. The success in the Singles goes to Red with the return to victory of Raffaele Rampino jr. Black redeems himself with the clear victory of the Musicians. The Borgo will participate in the Italian flag championships with a great team and musicians.

On Saturday 15 June the magic of flags returned to Faenza. The success of Borgo alla has been archived Bigorda, now it’s the flags’ turn to be the protagonists. The five districts of the city competed in the Single, Large Team and Small Team competitions. The Singles competitions open the dancing in the square. The ice-breaker is the Borgo’s flag-waver Marco Tarroni, with a decent performance even if tainted by the fall of a flag. The second performance sees one of the favorites to win enter the field: the 2018 and 2022 Italian champion Raffaele Rampino jr from Rione Rosso, who came second last year. The third to perform is Luca Giuseppe Corvino of the Rione Giallo who tries to continue the great recent tradition of the singles players from the Porta Ponte district, lastly the outgoing champion Luca Ghinassi who succeeded him this year. The final ranking sees Borgo Durbecco triumph with 25.66 points, which overthrows the long-time triumphant Rione Giallo. Second place goes to Yellow with 24.51 points, followed by Rione Verde (24.18), Black (24.10) and finally Red (20.48).
