In the late afternoon of Saturday 22 June, the consortium led by Claudio Sciurpa for the purchase of Perugia Calcio sent a new and definitive certified email to Massimiliano Santopadre. The pec aims to adapt the figures of the offer made last May 20th, again via certified mail, for the purchase of the red and white club.
This is an offer, as expected, which clearly exceeds that made on Friday by Timenova Holding SA, the so-called ‘Luxembourg consortium’. The offer, according to the information in our possession, is 6.5 million: more than double the previous one. Offer to which 3 million euros are added to cover ascertained debts and possible debts. But not only.
The consortium led by Sciurpa and made up of Mauro Ricci and the brothers Claudio and Emanuele Antonini, also puts on the table the certainty of the supply, for three years, of technical material by Frankie Garage for the first team and Primavera. Not to mention the provision of a sum intended for possible compensation for Santopadre in the event of defeat in court against Infront. There is no confirmation on the amount relating to the severance pay for the current owner of Perugia but it cannot be ruled out.
A consistent, solid offer, almost out of the market. An offer that is a sure sign of the desire to invest in Perugia, to invest to relaunch and bring Grifo back to Serie B shortly and to then aim for the highest national stages. The ball now passes to Massimiliano Santopadre, the die is cast take it or leave it. There will be no further room for negotiation.
