The deadline for settlements expires today

CIVITAVECCHIA – The deadline to formalize any possible alliances in view of the run-off round on 23 and 24 June expires at 12 today. Just over a week and Civitavecchia will know the name of its new mayor, chosen between Massimiliano Grasso, the centre-right candidate who obtained 34.6% of the preferences in the first round, and Marco Piendibene, from the centre-left, with 21.4 %.

Well, by midday it will be officially known whether the two coalitions will also present themselves in the initial lineup at the ballot or if, instead, there will be a formal connection with other lists: this would mean new entries to Pucci with respect to the two hypotheses of the formation of the city council.

And late yesterday afternoon it was reached the agreement between the center-left and the M5S, with the formalization of the wide field which failed in view of the first round and came back into vogue today, one week before the vote. However, the proposal of only joining with the M5S and not with the entire coalition passed: in the event of victory, therefore, Enzo D’Antò, Lucia Aprea, Dario Menditto and Alessandra Lecis, in the ranks of the majority together with the Pd, Avs and the Civic Union .

In the centre-right there were no official responses to Forza Italia’s proposal to return to the team as starters. Therefore, net of last-minute second thoughts, no comparisons should be made official; However, it is possible that these days leading up to the vote can be used to find a framework for possible and more probable political agreements between the various political forces.
