“In recent days I had also told other colleagues of yours that if Borrelli wasn’t convinced about staying in Brescia the best choice would have been not to buy him out and invest the amount earmarked for him on other players. Considering the official nature of the redemption, I imagine that the club and the boy have clarified the doubts that had arisen in recent weeks. I thought his failure to show up for the visits was a clear sign that he didn’t want to stay, but instead they probably talked to each other and decided to continue together. Or Cellino is already thinking of selling it elsewhere. We’ll see how things go. His confirmation is certainly important. Last year he did well and I think he can repeat himself next season too. However, it is essential that he has the right mentality and the desire to stay in Brescia, because sometimes it is better to have a mediocre player who is willing to sacrifice himself for the team rather than a strong one with his mind elsewhere. If he is calm and happy to stay then everything will be fine“.
“The start was excellent. Borrelli’s redemption was important, but the best news so far was Maran’s confirmation. Rolando is a gentleman coach, who knows the category well as well as the place.
