Meta Catania wins tooth and nail, beats Napoli 2-1 and flies to Game Three of the Scudetto. We don’t go to the PalaCatania, in front of a crazy crowd, sold out with over 5 thousand Rossazzurri fans who filled everything in every row of seats. A unique bedlam, with the fans of the Curva del Catania singing with the whole PalaCatania. A push that allowed a super start, full of opportunities and which led to Podda’s goal. Meta Catania who kept possession, but Bellobuono got excited by denying the joy of the goal to Podda twice and then Turmena. But as usual in Naples you can’t concede anything and the Neapolitans scored at the first real opportunity to make it 1-1. In the second half it was the usual score, a tough and intense match where both teams looked for solutions to score. Bellobuono protagonist on Podda and Musumeci and on Pulvirenti. Napoli tried with lethal counterattacks but Timm was careful. The decisive two-to-one starts from Bocão’s shot and Carmelo Musumeci’s shot underneath which blew up PalaCatania. Anderson came close to scoring the third goal, a sensational crossbar, before the goal, conceded and then canceled out to Pulvirenti on Napoli’s power play. Everything happened, Napoli attacked with the extra man but Meta Catania’s defense was perfect until the siren. Crazy victory, the scudetto is still open and now Game 3 in Naples to be played on Friday 21 June at 8.30pm, live on Skysport, everything down to the last second.
