A deluge of colors transformed and made unique the traditional “red bench” against violence against women created by the artist Giuseppe Ravizzotti. It was inaugurated yesterday afternoon in the Valentino park, in via Alcarotti, in memory of the entrepreneur Donatella Zelandi: «Every trait and every color represents each of us who together are hearts and souls that can free others» said Ravizzotti.
The initiative was promoted by Confartigianato in collaboration with the «Liberazione e Speranza» cooperative, active against violence against women, as a tribute to the manager of the «Monterosa» of San Pietro Mosezzo, an international company producing organic cotton wicks for the candles, and president of the women’s business movement of the association. «She has always dedicated herself with great passion to her work and to the protection of women’s activities» said the president of Confartigianato Michele Giovanardi to which the director Amleto Impaloni added: «In particular, she had at heart the issue of the fight against gender violence and discrimination.”
The bench was donated by the carpentry of Antonio Piciaccia and installed by the company of Antonio Elia while the artist Giuseppe Ravizzotti transformed it into a world of colors among the trees of the park: «It represents the mantra that I always repeat because when we united we are more than the sum of individual people.” «Donatella loved nature and this place is ideal to remember her – said her husband Alberto Ciocca with her children Elena and Alessandro – of her. She has always fought for female entrepreneurship, it was her commitment.” This was also underlined by Daniela Biolatto, national president of the women’s business movement with local representatives Elis Piaterra and regional Sara Origlia: «She organized events in which she went to the end, examining every aspect so that those who participated could take home food for thought and hope» .
