Guided excursions, trekking, climbing, walks (even with children alpaca), mountain bike routes, immersive experiences in the woods and astronomical journeys among stars and music: these are just some of the experiences that will be offered daily and dedicated to those who love experiencing nature in the round, filling up on wonder, beauty, relaxation and for those who want a pinch of adrenaline.
Participation in activities is open to all upon reservation and at a discounted or free rate for holders of the Trento Guest Card, the tourist card reserved for guests of member and affiliated structures in the tourism sector of Trento, Monte Bondone and Altopiano di Piné with many advantages for guests who choose our area.
From July to September Monte Bondone will offer its visitors a complex program of initiatives dedicated to the whole family, children and lovers of sports, the outdoors and animals: guided excursions on foot and by mountain bike, climbing tests, trekking with alpacasNordic walking activities, meditative walks in the woods, yoga at sunset and, an absolute novelty in this edition of “My Active Summer”, four musical and immersive shows in nature in collaboration with Air Mixtures in the splendid setting of Vason, Viote and Garniga Terme.
Muse experts will also accompany visitors to discover the Viote Alpine Botanical Garden, where you can admire a heritage of over two thousand species of rare plants, a treasure chest of Alpine biodiversity, and where you can take part in experiential workshops, nature walks and themed days. At the Terrace of the Stars, with its unmistakable steel dome reflecting the beauty of the sky, traditional observations of the sky will instead be offered thanks to the very powerful telescopes inside the astronomical observatory. But this place between earth and sky on summer evenings also transforms into an enchanting stage for shows, laboratories and in-depth studies on astronomical themes.
On the Piné plateau, outdoor lovers will be able to enjoy the beauty of the area surrounded by woods and splendid bodies of water and dedicate themselves to many outdoor activities and sports. It will therefore be possible to choose between the numerous proposals of “The ideal week”, a program of events and activities proposed by Apt which ranges fromfamily climbingto the forest bathingcome on gourmet picnic in the vineyard at pilates at sunsetgive her multisensory experiences in the world of bees nature walks passing through nature workshops, stories under the stars and immersive musical shows.
Mountain bike (and e-bike) lovers will also have at their disposal over 200 kilometers of mapped and well-maintained itineraries thanks to the project “Hike & Bike”. A rich and varied outdoor offering that also ranges from horse riding to water sports such as upper and the canoe until the trekking with many panoramic routes suitable for all levels of preparation, dotted with mountain huts and refuges where you can enjoy delicious stops based on local products.
But it is in the water that you can practice one of the most original disciplines: the dragonboat, which on Lake Serraia sees groups of rowers competing with paddle strokes on board boats almost 13 meters long, with the head and tail in the shape of a dragon. It is right here on Alberon beach that the Dragonfest will be held from 13 to 14 July, which has its highlight in the dragon boat race. Also for 2024, the Piné Plateau remains one of the territories most attentive to the environment and to a sustainable development approach, also confirmed by the renewed and prestigious international recognition of the Blue Flags for its lakes for the quality of the water and services offered on the beaches.
