Magical, simply magical. There are no better words to describe the eleventh philanthropic pearl of the Cuore del Volley voluntary association which, welcomed by the staff of the ScivoSplash of Latina who opened the doors of the water park for free, painted yet another charitable masterpiece with the support of the friends of the Sports Observatory and for Sports Tourism of president Gianluca Marchionne.
The second edition of the Goliards broke all previous records: over 140 participants divided into 13 teams gave life to the happiest and most importantly inclusive competition of the 2024 Latin summer. Without age limits, without barriers, they all dived into the pools together, they overturned buckets full of water, challenged each other in speed and skill competitions to support the mission of this edition in favor of the Mirability association, of the president Valentina Marcoccio, and of the “Blocco Mirability” project which will start in the next few months. Alessia Montemurro, vice president of Mirability, underlined that “The Goliardiadi 2024 edition represents an inclusive event ready to welcome friends, parents, children with cognitive and behavioral disabilities who are users of the Mirability Cooperative”.
With the proceeds from the charity event, the Blocco Mirability project will be carried forward, which aims to involve children through an educational method with scientific foundations that is applied with the inclusion of Lego bricks.
Thanks go to Cuore del Volley for believing in this initiative to organize a fun, stimulating and unconventional day. “The enthusiasm that surrounds us is the continuous motivation to try to improve what is evidently already incredible, nothing would be possible without the help of many people who allow us to complete these small miracles of social and sporting inclusion”, these instead the words of the president of Cuore del Volley, Vincenzo Annarumma, who confirms that this edition can be remembered as one of the records for number of attendances and that the donation will well exceed €3,700, again a new “record” for a Cuore event of Volleyball!
