Disappears: found in a confused state at the airport gates

He disappears from the province of Rovigo: he comes tracked down in a confused state at Marco Polo airport from Venice.

The protagonist of the story, fortunately with a happy ending, is a man, a Romanian citizen, with mobility difficulties, who he had been reported as a missing person by the prefecture of Rovigo.

The border police officers at Venice airport, engaged in the normal control activity on departures from Italy, noticed the man in an evident state of confusion near the access gates to the airport security checks.

When they intervened, they immediately noticed that the man was in a confused state. Having ascertained that he was undocumented and had difficulty understanding Italian, they accompanied him to the offices to try to identify him. But the man, without documents, was unable to provide any useful information.

It was therefore necessary to proceed with the photographic comparison, through the police database, to understand that it was a person reported missing. The complaint was presented in recent days by his family members, residents like him in the province of Rovigo.

The search plan for missing persons was therefore launched, which also involved the province of Venice after, last Monday, the man had been spotted at the Portogruaro train station.

After tracking him down at the airport, police officers they proceeded to contact his relatives who, within a few hours, arrived in Venice to bring him home.
