CAMPOBASSO – On the occasion of National Sports Day, the Responsible Research Hospital will participate in the initiative organized by CONI Molise, in collaboration with CTE Molise (House of Emerging Technologies of Campobasso) and the Municipality of Campobasso.
The event will be held on Sunday 16 June starting from 5.00 pm in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. There will be numerous activities planned: in addition to the promotion of sport, free medical visits and moments of discussion and debate on new technologies applied to the sporting world will be offered.
Among the participants, there will be: Gaetano CastellanoDirector of the Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine Unit; Rodolfo CitroDirector of the Cardiology Clinic and Cardio Imaging Unit; Francesco CafarelliDirector of the Cardiac and Large Vessel Surgery Unit.
“A simple physical activity is sufficient, which does not require great effort, such as walking at a brisk pace, with an average speed of 4-5 km/h, perhaps monitored by a heart rate monitor, continuously for 40-45 minutes, done at least 3 times, better yet 4-5 times a week” comments the professor Rodolfo CitroProfessor at the University of Molise and Director of the Cardiology and Cardio Imaging Clinic of the RRH, “this contributes significantly to cardiovascular prevention”.
The event represents an opportunity to raise awareness among the population on the topic of sport and a healthy and active lifestyle, underlining the importance of prevention. This activity is part of the social initiatives promoted by Responsible in the area.
