The Giostra del Saracino told to the Argentines. On Tuesday 18 June, at 8.00, the national television Canal 26 will broadcast a twelve-minute analysis of the city’s chivalric event with the double objective of enhancing its historical-reminiscent uniqueness and sharing the strong sense of belonging of the Arezzo people.
The content creator and videomaker Leonardo Olivito will talk about it and will be interviewed by the presenter Héctor Rossi during the live news broadcast broadcast by the third most important Argentine television.
The connection will be provided directly from Piazza Grande which, decorated with the traditional scenography of shields and flags, will become the setting from which to perceive the atmosphere and suggestions of the Giostra del Saracino.
Born in Buenos Aires and arrived in Arezzo where he has collaborated with Teletruria since 2002, Olivito will talk about the event above all from an anthropological point of view. The desire is to tell the story of the transformation of the city in the days of the Giostra, the ability to activate intergenerational bonds, the potential in terms of socialization and aggregation, the identity pride of the citizens and the belonging to the colors of the neighborhoods, in addition to the care placed towards every detail also denoted by the quality and accuracy in the preparation of the participants’ clothes.
The words will be supported by the viewing of a video summary of the event with images selected and edited by Olivito himself who recently worked on the new theme song, the new promo and the new graphic frame for the Teletruria broadcasts dedicated to the Saracino.
