The Emilian club has signed, on a free transfer, the left-footed winger Emanuele Valeri, fresh from two consecutive seasons in Serie A with the shirts of Cremonese and Frosinone. In his career – in the top flight – he made 53 appearances, scoring two goals and making 4 assists.

Below is the note from the ducal team: “Parma Calcio announces that it has definitively acquired the sporting services of Emanuele Valeri. Starting from 1 July 2024 he will be yellow and blue with a contract until 06.30.2027. Emanuele played two seasons in Serie A: the first with Cremonese , the second with Frosinone in the championship just concluded. In the top flight, he has made 53 appearances in total (37 with Cremonese, 16 with Frosinone), as well as 2 goals and 4 assists in the last championship, since his debut (3 February 2024), Emanuele stood out among defenders for having attempted the highest number of shots on goal (19), surpassed only by Théo Hernandez and Federico Dimarco in the special performance ranking, thus highlighting his offensive qualities for this reason many clubs followed him with attention and interest, but Emanuele decided to choose Parma and Parma Calcio as his next team.
Emanuele Valeri’s statement: ‘I really wanted this shirt, because Parma represents the history, tradition but also the glory of Italian football. I decided to accept the proposal immediately, when I knew that the club wanted me. It is a very ambitious club, I know the coach Fabio Pecchia and I know what type of game he wants to implement. My promise is that I will give my all to these colors. I want to thank President Krause and the directors who loved me so much, as well as all our fans who I hope to meet soon.’
The statement from Sports Director Mauro Pederzoli: ‘He is a high quality Italian profile who knows how to combine both the defensive and offensive phases well. We selected him because he is part of a precise strategic desire to strengthen the First Team. We saw in him the great desire to embrace Parma. We are happy that he will join the Gialloblu family and we are aware that he will enrich an already competitive squad.”
TO FANTASY FOOTBALL – Valeri, therefore, remains at Fantacalcio despite the relegation achieved with the Frosinone. A full-back who often looks for the winning conclusion or assist, he can certainly be a good profile to have in your squad as the sixth/seventh slot. Obviously, in the coming months we will know better his attractiveness index by comparing him with the other players present in the Emilian squad.
