A tour to discover the Teatro Grande: the proposal for the weekend

A tour to discover the secrets of the Teatro Grande, in the year of the 120th anniversary of the Brescia debut of «Madama Butterfly». It is the possibility that Fondazione del Teatro Grande offers residents and tourists to visit the spaces of the greatest citizen this weekend (here are all the initiatives planned in the Brescia area), in conjunction with the return of the Mille Miglia. Tours are scheduled for today, Saturday 15 June, at 3pm, 5pm, 7.30pm and 9pm, and Sunday 16 June at 10.30am, 12pm, 3pm and 5pm.

It works like this: all appointments have a duration of approximately 60 minutes, during which it will be possible to admire the Theater Ridotto, the Great Hall with its unmistakable structure and the splendid Hall of Statues which, with its over 200 years of history, has been the subject of a very recent restoration. Both days will be accompanied by the opening of the Café del Teatro Grand inside the Ridotto, with extended hours on Saturday 15 June from 10am to 11pm, on the occasion of the Notte Bianca della Mille Miglia, and on Sunday 16 June from 10am to 8pm.

THE tickets they can be purchased online at theater website, on Vivaticket or at the Grande ticket office (today open from 10am to 1pm and from 3.30pm to 7pm). These are the costs: full €13, reduced groups €10, reduced €8 for Under30s, free entry for Under7s. A free ticket is reserved for people with certified disabilities after contacting the Teatro Grande ticket office.

You enter from the main entrance (corso Zanardelli, 9) or from the accessible entrance without stairs in Piazzetta Paganora.
