Between stage and reality, everything is ready for the ‘GRande Estate’, the event that inaugurates the summer season in the heart of Grosseto. Four evening events to dance, sing, get excited and have fun in Piazza Dante for four shows between 21st and 27th June.

To open the dance, Friday’s concert by Enrico Ruggeri. On Sunday, however, there will be space for comedy (from Livorno) with Paolo Ruffini’s show Up&Down, comical and moving, which talks about human relationships. A direct and poetic investigation into society: irony and irreverence accompany spectators “on a journey that tells of the beauty that lies in diversity”. Ruffini brings this show to the stage together with some truly UP actors with Down syndrome, and “they will be the ones to infect everyone with the ‘UP Syndrome’!”, say the organizers –

Wednesday 26th will be the turn of Arisa, a singer who can boast the 2014 Sanremo Festival in her palmarès, as well as a judge in several talent shows.

Closing with a bang guaranteed with Dario Ballantini, who will bring his Rock Live Show to the Piazza Dante stage on Thursday 27th. What can we say about the Livorno born in ’64: actor, comedian, painter, quick-change artist who acquired notoriety with his famous imitations as a correspondent for Striscia la Notizia, taking on the role of well-known characters such as Valentino, Gianni Morandi, Vasco, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Roberto Maroni, Michela Vittoria Brambilla, Nanni Moretti, Gino Paoli, Ignazio La Russa and many others.

“I thank – explains the mayor of Grosseto Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna – the councilors and those who made this show possible, a commitment that sees such closeness on the part of the city”.

“They are shows – says councilor Riccardo Megale – aimed at multiple types of participants, not only the fans will come but the city will come together to be together”. “I hope – says councilor Fabrizio Rossi – to find the shops open for vitality but also for the economy”. “Our strength – said councilor Luca Agresti – is the ability to bring together the energies available in the area”. And the deputy mayor Bruno Ceccherini made a recommendation to public establishments.

“Keep your businesses open – he says – because the turnout will be large and it won’t just be the people of Grosseto who will come to the historic center to watch the shows. The evenings will offer citizens and tourists the opportunity to go shopping in the evening, walking through the illuminated streets of the historic center”.
