Tomorrow, Saturday 15 June, the second Firenze Rocks concert is scheduled at the Visarno Arena. Other measures will be added tomorrow to the transit and parking bans already in force in Viale del Visarno (from the intersection of Piazzale Jefferson to the intersection with Via delle Cascine). The first will start at 8am and these will be the parking bans in Via delle Cascine and in Piazzale delle Cascine (area in front of the shooting range and the University building in front of house number 15). To these will be added the parking bans in Piazzale delle Cascine (area adjacent to Piazza Mazzei from Viale del Quercione to Viale della Tinaia with an exception for disabled vehicles), in Viale degli Olmi (from Viale del Galoppo to Piazzale delle Cascine), viale del Pegaso (Prato del Quercione side between viale Florence Nightingale and viale dell’Aeronautica for the establishment of parking reserved for bicycles also in sharing and between viale delle Cornacchie and viale Florence Nightingale for a parking area reserved for scooters also in sharing), in via dei Vespucci (from via del Barco to the railway bridge).

From 1pm, further parking bans will come into force in Viale Lincoln for the parking of bicycles and scooters, and transit bans in Via Tartini from the intersection with Piazza Puccini (except for urban local public transport buses, owners of driveways and fronters of Via Tartini, Via Pergolesi , via Boito and vehicles heading to the “Manifattura Tabacchi” car park) and in via delle Cascine (from piazzale delle Cascine to via Paisiello). The closure of via Berio (between viale Fratelli Rosselli and via del Fosso Macinante), via del Fosso Macinante (between via Berio and piazzale Jefferson), piazzale Jefferson (between via del Fosso Macinante and viale degli Olmi), viale degli Olmi is still expected , via del Barco (between via dei Vespucci and viale del Pegaso), viale del Pegaso (between via del Barco and viale dell’Aeronautica), viale dell’Aeronautica (between viale del Pegaso and piazzale delle Cascine), piazzale delle Cascine (area adjacent to Piazza Mazzei) with exception for authorized vehicles. Prohibition of transit without exceptions instead in Viale del Quercione (from Viale dell’Aeronautica to Piazzale Kennedy), Piazzale Kennedy (from Viale del Quercione to Viale della Tinaia), Viale della Tinaia (from Piazzale Kennedy to Piazzale delle Cascine). These measures will be in force until 1am on Monday 16 June.
Public transport
Tomorrow the changes to the urban LPT lines in the affected area, already in force on Thursday, will be replicated. In particular, as regards line 55, the route will remain unchanged from the start of the service until 1pm, after which the service will be limited with the terminus in Piazza Puccini. From 1pm, the 17C variant will be diverted onto itinerary 17B in via Boito and will no longer reach Piazzale Kennedy, making its temporary terminus at the Redi San Donato stop (coming from Viale Verga). The buses headed to Viale Verga will always depart from the temporary terminus at the Redi San Donato stop, still passing through Piazza Puccini. For info www.at-bus.it
Tramway
Please remember that to reach the concert area you can also use the tramway, both T1 (Cascine Carlo Monni stop) and T2 (San Donato Università stop), then reaching the Visarno Arena on foot.
Exchanger parking lots
To limit the access of private vehicles, it is advisable to use the interchange car parks along the two tram lines T1 Leonardo and T2 Vespucci (platform 16 station, Fortezza Fiera, Porta a Prato-Leopolda, Guidoni, Palace of Justice-Novoli, shopping center San Donato, Villa Costanza, Ponte a Greve) and the one with entrance from via Tartini “Manifattura Tabacchi”.
