From today to Sunday Battiti Live in Molfetta

The June 21ston the day of the summer solstice, the 22nd edition of the Radio Norba Cornetto Battiti Live. Great news immediately: for the first time in its more than twenty-year history, the most loved festival of the Italian summer arrives in the city of Molfetta. Three dates, 21, 22 and 23 June, in the breathtaking setting of one of the most important maritime cities in the Mediterranean, in the shadow of the Duomo, a church between East and West. Hosting the 2024 edition of Radio Norba Cornetto Battiti Live, for the first time, will be Ilary Blasi with Alvin and the participation of Rebecca Staffelli. Artistic direction by Alan Palmieri, the direction will once again be signed by Luigi Antonini, the sets are by Marco Calzavara, the photography by Massimo Pascucci, the technical direction by Dino D’Alessandro, the executive direction by Carlo Gallo, the casting by Pasquale Sabatelli and Matteo Maggi’s on the road direction. The program is written by Marco Pantaleo, Ennio Meloni and Antonio Tocci. As always for 22 years, this year too Entry to Radio Norba Cornetto Battiti Live is free, until the permitted capacities are reached.

There will also be Alessio Di Ponzio, Mattias Nigiotti, Eleonora Cabras, Flaminia Silanos and Claudio La Carpia. And as the icing on the cake, Mattia Zenzola (winner of Amici 22) and Tommaso Stanzani will be guests of the Radio Norba Cornetto Battiti Live dance troupe.

THE BAN ON THE SALE OF SPIRITS AND GLASS DRINKS STARTS.

Starting from 2pm on June 21st until 2am on June 24ththere is the ordinance which prohibits the sale of spirits and, more generally, all take-away drinks in glass. The ban concerns the owners of 24-hour vending machines and the owners of food & beverage administration businesses located along the arrival route to the event area, in particular Lungomare Colonna, Via Baccarini, Via Tenente Fiorino, Piazza Aldo Moro, Corso Umberto, Piazza Garibaldi, Corso Dante, Via and Piazza Margherita di Savoia, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza Mazzini, Via San Domenico, Via San Carlo, Via Madonna dei martiri, Via Sergio Pansini and Via Tenente Ragno. The use of glass bottles for the consumption of drinks in the event area and within a 500 meter radius remains prohibited. The ordinance was necessary considering the fact that glass containers can be used improperly.

MEANS OF TRANSPORT

To minimize inconvenience, local police officers will, where possible, meet the needs of residents. For those who move from the suburbs to the centre, for those arriving from outside Molfetta, on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd, 29th and 30th of June, the days of Battiti live and MolFest, from 4pm to 2am, the park&ride is established free, with waiting times of around 15 minutes, and areand free parking. From 21st to 30th June, to facilitate urban mobility you will be able to travel on MTM buses for free. On the days of the two events, all Mtm lines will operate in the morning, in the afternoon the “Spiagge” line and line 2 will be cancelled. On the occasion of Battiti Live, an access point will be provided for people with disabilities who will be able to access from the Arco della Terra and continue along Via San Salvatore until you reach the area reserved for them.
