SERMONET – “The one in Sermoneta was an experience lived with the passion that distinguishes us and I can say that, although the result of the vote did not reward us, we bring home more positive things than negative sides”.
This is supported in a note by Roberto Stabellini, provincial representative of “Fare”, who comments on the results of the electoral round for the election of the mayor and the renewal of the municipal council in Sermoneta.
Lina Mammaro, representative of “Fare Sermoneta” supported by the provincial group and ready to make herself available to the Sermoneta community, also ran on the list in support of the mayoral candidate Giuseppina Giovannoli, who later emerged as the winner: “The result in itself does not exalt us, Lina deserved more votes in proportion to the commitment she demonstrated to be able to make available at this stage and the ideas she had proposed during the meetings with citizens. But about the results of the vote – explains Roberto Stabellini – we absolutely cannot appeal. What I want to underline, however, is the great commitment that the entire Fare provinciale group put into this adventure which involved dozens of supporters and many supporters. These weeks in which we have focused our attention on Lina and on the idea of ”doing” that we continue to insistently support have given us back the awareness that the path we are following will take us far, that ideas will continue to be born and that soon you will be given the trust and the opportunity to make it something concrete”.
Along the lines of the provincial coordinator of “Fare”, the person who created that movement only a few years ago, the Urban Planning councilor of the Municipality of Latina Annalisa Muzio, who was the first to embrace the idea of Lina’s candidacy, spoke. Mammaro: “We probably failed to make the entire city of Sermoneta understand that having a person like Lina Mammaro available could be a great opportunity, an extraordinary woman full of passion, ideas and proposals that we are sure will still be held in great consideration. by the mayor of Sermoneta, Giuseppina Giovannoli, and who we are sure will be able to understand and make effective the projects advanced by our group in Sermoneta. Lina, to whom my personal thanks once again go out for getting involved – concluded councilor Annalisa Muzio – has already reassured us that its commitment will resume with renewed vigor with “Fare Sermoneta” which, with the utmost respect for administrative roles and tasks, wants to become a civic point of reference in the city”.
