Bathing ban in two places on the Crotone seafront

With ORDINANCE N. 192 of 06/13/2024, which has “Subject: temporary ban on bathing along the stretches of beach called “Lido Tricoli” and “In front of Cemetery”, the Municipality of Crotone has temporarily prohibited bathing near of two areas on the Crotone seafront. “Having seen the note from the ARPACal – Provincial Department of Crotone – received by the General Protocol on 13.6.2024, n. 56180, with which it communicates that from the analyzes carried out on sea water samples taken on 12.6.2024, an unfavorable outcome was detected for the microbiological parameters “Escherichia coli” and “Intestinal Enterococci” in the following sampling stations:

1. Lido Tricoli – ID IT018101010007;

2. In front of the Cemetery – ID IT018101010009.

– Therefore deemed necessary to urgently proceed with a temporary ban on bathing in the aforementioned stretch of sea as identified above, until further communication from

ARPACAL;

– Also considered that it is not necessary to proceed with the communication of initiation of the procedure pursuant to art. 7 of law no. 241/90 given the generality of the addressees of the ordinance;

Bathing is temporarily prohibited in the following stretches of coastline as indicated below:

1. Lido Tricoli – ID IT018101010007;

2. In front of the Cemetery – ID IT018101010009”.
