These are the words that the man who lived inside the camper which burned down in Poggino this morning addressed to the police before setting the flames and destroying the vehicle. In his hand a lighter and a bottle of alcohol.

It seems that the officers were there for a check, but the man did not want to get out of the camper, the vehicle he had been using as a home for about a year.
“I’m not resisting, this is my home” Evanival Macario Jorge ordered the officers during a live video on Facebook.
“You have to get out, we have to check you” replies an officer trying to convince him and explaining that he is making his situation worse. When the policeman tries to enter the camper, the man begins to lose control.

“If you come, I have alcohol, I’ll put it on my head and make a mess – he tells the policeman -. I’m here, I’m recording everything… If you come, I’ll light and set fire to everything, with me inside.”
“You’re exaggerating – he says to the agent – come out and let’s resolve this”. “Nobody wants to do anything to you,” another voiceover says. But the man replies that he doesn’t trust them.
After a few moments the live broadcast stops. And, presumably, it is the moment in which the man sets fire to the camper, creating panic in Poggino, an industrial area of Viterbo.
Shortly afterwards, a new live broadcast starts on Facebook, this time directly from inside the police car, where he was taken in time by the officers before the worst could happen.
