The municipal administration with the mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli congratulates Francesco Domilicia photographer from Bagheria who is building an important role for himself in the international field, who since 18 June to 18 August 2024 will be, for the second time, on display at Royal Academy of London with one of his works entitled: “Wonderwall”.

The work was selected, on a double global selection, from approximately 16,500 works of artists from all over the world.
This year the artistic direction fell to Ann ChristopherBritish sculptor known for her large-scale abstract works, who personally took care of the layout of the room where the work of Francesco Domilici.

Founded in 1768, the Royal Academy of Arts is the longest-running and most distinguished arts institution in the United Kingdom. Among the royal academics, Jeff Koons, Marina Abramovic, William Kentridge, Anselm Kiefer, Mimmo Paladino, Ai Weiwei and Domilici from Bagheria had the honor, twice, of exhibiting with these artists who are the history of contemporary art.
