The Park lives 365 days a year, but in these warmer days we rediscover all the importance of this sort of Brianza Central Park, nestled among the buildings, with always new activities to be carried out outdoors.
Starting from those of the children, the masters of the summer mornings at the park, with the summer centers of the Municipality of Monza at Cascina San Fedele and the Spazio Camp at Cascina Frutteto, on the initiative of Events Theatre.
Established on 14 September 1805 by will of Emperor Napoleon with the aim of making it a model agricultural estate and a hunting reserve, over time it has become the ideal place for sporting, leisure and relaxation activities, among villas, farmhouses, mills, cycle paths, an equestrian centre, the racetrack.
At Villa Mirabello, on an area of approximately 11 thousand square metres, there is the Equestrian Centre, where riding courses and events are held. The Equestrian Center also hosts the Cer Monza Onlus equestrian re-education courses. Among the other available equipment, there is an open-air riding arena, a covered ring (trotting ring), a covered roundhouse, a carousel and a lamp for horses, 2 paddocks, 60 horse boxes, 2 tack rooms, an obstacle course. Initiatives at the racetrack, not just for professionals and the Formula 1 Grand Prix. With the Monza tour experience you can visit the heart of the circuit: history of the temple of speed, press room, briefing room, podium and race direction, all in the back the wings of the circuit. There is also the minivan or bus tour of the circuit for a journey through the variations and curves, and the Premium Tour with motorsport testimonials to enjoy a double thrill.
But the park is above all the kingdom of runners with four running routes suitable for all needs, from beginners to professionals. They are marked with signs and arrows of different colours.
The Monza Park is also a large outdoor gym for Nordic Walking, with five routes for a sport to be practiced all year round.
And then four special itineraries: on the paths of knights and witches, the green giants (dedicated to the monumental trees of the Gardens), on the paths of the gnomes, and the Royal Palace goes on stage. A walk, the latter, which in reality is a dive into the history of cinema, an overview of the films for which the Park and its Villa were splendid locations, from “He’s worse than me” to “Grand Prix”, from “The Garden of the Finzi Contini“ to “Cars2“ and the “Band of the Santa Clauses“.
