TERMOLI. The comment note from the parliamentary delegation of Fratelli d’Italia, composed of Senator Costanzo Della Porta and the Honorable Elisabetta Lancellotta, arrives at the conclusion of the electoral operations in Molise.
«The European elections confirmed Fratelli d’Italia as the first party in the Region, with over 34 thousand votes equal to 26.76%. Success widely confirmed in the capital cities of Campobasso and Isernia. Extremely relevant and extraordinary data, which testifies to the enormous appreciation of the people of Molise for the work of the Meloni Government and, more generally, also for the activities that Parliament and the regional government are carrying out for the people of Molise.
Voting for Giorgia and Fratelli d’Italia was a clear choice of direction, further confirmed also in the vote for the administrative elections of Termoli and Campobasso.
We would like to underline the victory of the new mayor of Termoli, Nico Balice, and of the centre-right of the Adriatic city. An overwhelming success that confirms the excellent work of the outgoing administration and the citizens’ appreciation of the national and regional centre-right. The response from the Fratelli d’Italia party, which leads the center-right coalition in the Adriatic city, was brilliant.
Even in Campobasso the electoral data puts our coalition ahead of the other competitors, with a composition of the municipal council already with a centre-right majority. Aldo De Benedittis received almost one vote out of two. Fratelli d’Italia recorded, once again, important numbers and, overall, the centre-right lists reached almost 53% of the votes. Therefore, more than one Campobassano out of two has chosen our coalition with conviction.
We are convinced that the people of Campobasso will go to the polls on Sunday 23 and Monday 24 June to continue to support Aldo De Benedittis as mayor and to finally give Campobasso a new impetus, in this case decidedly strengthened by the institutional chain which sees a united centre-right already at national and regional government level. In this way we will be able to ensure that Campobasso has the right place it deserves, after an administration, the outgoing one, which has done little or nothing for the city and for the people of Campobasso.
Furthermore, in the electoral round, several mayors of the Molise municipalities were elected or confirmed and their respective municipal councils were renewed.
We would like to wish all the newly elected and reconfirmed mayors and city councilors the most sincere congratulations as we await the start of the new council.
The first citizens, the councilors and the municipal councilors are those who, every day, living in their respective communities, experience first-hand everything that needs to be done for their respective countries.
