Put two associations together, the desire to pedal, the sense of belonging to a community: what will come out of it is something special! This is how the idea of ​​the Summer Tour was born: creating a bond between those who share living in the Sant’Andrea neighborhood, teaming up to enhance this often forgotten part of the city. The best way? A bicycle rideon the occasion of the neighborhood religious festival in honor of the Madonna dell’Altomare.

The appointment is Sunday 16 JUNE 2024, meeting at 08.30 am at the SANT’ANDREA PARK in via Santa Chiara d’Assisi in Bisceglie.

The bike ride will start at 09.00.

«We will pedal together – write the organizers – crossing the Bisceglie countryside. The first stage of the cycle tour includes a guided tour to discover Torre Gavetino, then we will reach the Dolmen La Chianca, a megalithic monument dating back to the Bronze Age. Finally, we will enjoy a healthy and genuine snack prepared by the Bombini farm.

Low difficulty route suitable for everyone, young and old.”

Return expected at approximately 12.00.

CHECK your bike beforehand!

Equip yourself with bicycles in good condition, with efficient gears and brakes.

It is recommended to bring WATER with you, HAT and SUN PROTECTION. The use of a helmet is recommended.

The event is organized by Biciliæ FIAB and the Quartiere Sant’Andrea association, in collaboration with the Bombini agricultural company. The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Bisceglie.

Participation in the event it is open to everyone and it is free for Biciliae members, compulsory insurance for non-members (€3).

Punctuality is recommended to allow registration operations.
