SANTENA – 14 June 2024 – In the recent elections for the renewal of the Piedmont Regional Council and the European Parliament, the highest number of preference votes collected among the Santenesi went to Davide Nicco, regional councilor candidate: 350. Immediately behind the prime minister: 317 Santenesi wrote Giorgia Meloni.
So in the city whoever has received the most preferences is Davide Nicco, reconfirmed regional councilor who managed to get 350 Santenesi voters to write his name and surname. Davide Nicco in the city reaps what he has sown. In these years, when he served, he was always there. He worked at the service of the territory. In Santena, as in the area, he was voted by many local centre-right voters as a moderate candidate, without a past in the Alleanza Nazionale area.
The second candidate who received the highest number of preferences during the recent electoral round is the prime minister Giorgia Meloni. Flag candidate, 317 wrote her name on her ballot.
Maurizio Marrone, regional councilor, who has had a good number of appearances in Santena in the last 5 years, has collected 50 preferences. So far the best performances of the Fratelli D’Italia candidates.
Let’s move on to the exponents of the Democratic Party. The candidate for the European Parliament Cecilia Strada, daughter of the Milanese doctor who founded Emergency, received 113 preferences. The candidate for regional councilor Monica Canalis was voted for by 83 Santenesi. She too has had a good number of presences in the area in recent years.
As for the exponents of Forza Italia, the candidate councilor Andrea Tronzano he had 54 preferences. In recent years, he has been present in the city several times. The Santenese candidate Vincenza Sammaruca, sponsored by the former MP and former mayor of Santena Benny Nicotra, took home 43 preferences. The results of Forza Italia in the European Parliament are these: Paolo Tajani, 49; Paolo Damilano, 43; Claudia Porchietto, the only one of the three Forzi supporters to have had any presence in Santena, received 24 preferences from the Santenesi.
For the Green and Left Alliance list, the Green and Left Alliance list, the candidates for the European Parliament Ilaria Salis and Mimmo Lucano they both had 73 preferences. The Riacese community has always ignored and opposed Mimmo Lucano. We’ll see if he’ll change his tune now. Mimmo, as well as being in the European Parliament, was re-elected mayor of Riace. Again for the Green and Left Alliance List, as regards the Piedmont Region, it received the greatest number of preferences Alice Ravinale, with 35 votes, followed by Valentina Cera, with 21.
For the Lega Salvini Premier list, for the European Parliament the Santenesi wrote the name of 66 times Roberto Vannacci. For the Piedmont Region Fabrizio Ricca, who had a few trips to the city under his belt, got 19 votes; the local candidate from Poirino, Denise Burdet, took away 9 preferences from Santena.
Sarah Disabato, presidential candidate in the Piedmont Region for the 5 Star Movement, also with more than one presence in the city, had 27 preferences. The Grillina candidate for the European Parliament Antonella Pepe received 38 preferences.
For the Pentenero Civic List list at the regional elections: Pasquale Cardonaa specialist doctor, who operated at a local level, took home 17 preferences.
For the United States of Europe list for Piedmont: the candidate from Trofarello Marco Cavalettocollect 8 preferences.
For the United States ‘Europe list: Matteo Renzi it was voted by 24 Santenese voters; Emma Boninohe had 14 preferences.
For the European Parliament the Action – We are Europeans list, the candidate Carlo Calendahad 13 votes.
The Peace Earth Dignity list in Santena received 18 preferential votes Michele Santoro.
