LECCE – There will be a run-off in Lecce. The central electoral commission responsible for reviewing the minutes of the operations of 4 sections has now completed its work by uploading the results of three sections to Eligendo. Adriana Poli Bortone, candidate of the centre-right, therefore stops at the 50% threshold, as do the lists that support her. In the runoff you will face the outgoing mayor Carlo Salvemini, re-nominated for the centre-left. Based on the counts of 98 seats out of 102, the centre-right candidate Adriana Poli Bortone is at 49.64% while Salvemini is at 47%.
