MODENA. Andrea Paltrinieri «he hadn’t already decided to kill his wife Anna Sviridenko». This is currently the evaluation of Investigating judge of the Modena court in validating the arrest of the 48-year-old, who remains in prison. Without, therefore, recognizing premeditation, which according to the investigating judge has yet to be demonstrated.

This morning an autopsy was also carried out on the body of the 40-year-old. It will be up to the doctor of the institute forensic medicine of Modena appointed by the Prosecutor’s Office to clarify the causes of death and the other circumstances in which the death of the woman, mother of two children, occurred.

To reconstruct what happened on Monday evening, before the 48-year-old showed up at the command of the Modena carabinieri in via Pico della Mirandola, it will be necessary to understand what time the woman died.

Returning to the causes of death, from a first external examination carried out that same evening, it emerged that it could have occurred due to strangulation: Anna was in fact in the trunk of Paltrinieri’s van, curled up, with a plastic bag on her head held tight by an electric wire. And under that bag was a belt tied around her neck. The woman had just returned to Modena to pick up her two children aged five and three.

The Innsbruck court he had just arranged for her to have sole custody of the children. Anna and Andrea had been fighting over the children for some time. The woman had obtained custody for three weeks a month, while Paltrinieri could keep the children for nine days.

The woman was a resident of Unimore to the Modena Polyclinic and worked as a radiologist at Innsbruck hospital. Her friends describe her as a hard worker, who divided her time between the two cities to be able to cover all the expenses and support her two children.

For about a year and a half he had been renting an apartment in San Felice; he was returning from Monday Innsbruck but, upon arriving in Modena, she was killed.

In recent hours the San Felice workers’ society has made itself available to help Anna’s family financially. In fact, on Wednesday the woman’s parents left Belarus to arrive in Italy to collect the body. Doing so will unfortunately have a significant cost.

Meanwhile, as mentioned, Paltrinieri’s arrest has been validated. The decision of the investigating judge, who had reserved himself, came the day after the river interrogation – which lasted about five hours – to which the 48-year-old was subjected on Wednesday.
