From rumors gathered by the editorial staff of CalcioFoggia.it and Foggia TV, Domenico Roma could be the new Sports Director of the Rossoneri club for next season. Roma, born in Policoro on 1 January 1976, is therefore 48 years old and could be officially announced after 30 June next as he is linked to ACR Messina where in the past season he held the role of Head of the Technical Area with Giacomo Modica, a student of Zdenek Zeman, on the bench. After the lead that led to Pasquale Foggia, wanted by Brescia in Serie B, has disappeared, Domenico Roma could be the right profile for the relaunch of the Rossoneri expected from an ambitious Championship. Last season, pursued by several Serie B clubs, he returned to the Strait where he had already been in the 2017-2018 season as a collaborator in the technical area alongside Giacomo Modica. The pairing met again this year after Roma had worked as a scouting collaborator at Torino, Bari and Cosenza. He also worked in the past with Bojano, Vibonese and for three years at Lavello. Who knows, maybe in Foggia Domenico Roma and Giacomo Modica might find themselves working for President Nicola Canonico’s club.
