“The photograph of our UPO graduates taken by AlmaLaurea represents a very important and flattering result for the entire academic community – said the rector on the sidelines of the Conference Gian Carlo Avanzi -. The data certifies the satisfaction of graduates who enter the world of professions with excellent stability and who earn more than the average. In this difficult historical period the numbers highlight with extreme clarity the irreplaceable function of social lift and reference for all of eastern Piedmont that the UPO has assumed for some time and in which it firmly believes. A few months ago, the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System (ANVUR) rewarded us by evaluating our organization and processes regarding work, research and teaching in a very positive manner. Today AlmaLaurea completes this extremely positive picture by telling us that our efforts translate into a better prospect for our graduates in the world of work, an aspect that should make anyone who works at UPO proud and which is worth more than a thousand words”.

“On this occasion – concludes the rector Avanzi – I believe it is essential to remember that the recent news of the co-financing by the Ministry for the construction of the new campus in Alessandria, combined with the completion of the new residences in Novara and the new teaching and service spaces in Vercelli which have a very near horizon, is a very strong impulse to further improve services for the benefit of those who choose the UPO to study, teach and work”.

“With our presence in Trieste – the teacher declared Chiara Morelli – we wanted to underline how much the University takes into consideration the careers of its students even after the conclusion of their academic career. Over the years we have built a decidedly fruitful relationship with the world of private businesses and public administrations, which we have long involved in our activities of creating educational paths and orientation to the world of professions. The data from the training internships that our students complete in the production sector and the growing request from companies to take part in our Career Days indicates that we are able to adapt the training offer to the demands of the professional world in a very effective way and to nothing taken for granted.”

The AlmaLaurea Report on the Profile of Graduates analyzed the educational performance of approximately 300 thousand graduates of 2023 from 78 universities, while the Report on the Employment Condition analyzed the working situation of approximately 660 thousand workers 1, 3 and 5 years after obtaining the qualification. graduates at national level.
