At one o’clock this night a patrol car in the center of Ancona intervened in Corso Stamira, near the city bus stop in Piazza Roma, when a young man, seeing the police patrol approaching, attempted to escape from the seen, hiding behind another young man who was waiting for a bus. He was first intercepted and then identified as MA, a 20-year-old Tunisian, who spontaneously handed over to the officers a pack of cigarettes containing a ball of “Hashish” type narcotic substance. But the Volante police wanted to carry out a more accurate check, carrying out a personal search, extending to personal effects which allowed them to find, in the boy’s pouch, a switch knife with a wooden and metal handle, with a smooth-bore blade of the overall length of 16 centimetres, which was therefore seized. The area of the bus stop in Piazza Roma has been the object of targeted and constant checks ordered by the Police Commissioner of Ancona for months, because it is the scene of drug dealing incidents, fights or arguments between people waiting for the bus to leave the city or they arrive and exit the vehicles. The young man, who had already been reported this same year for personal injuries, was then referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the criminal violation of unjustified possession of a cutting weapon (art. 4 of law 110/75) as well as reported to the Prefecture of Ancona pursuant to art. 75 Presidential Decree 309/90 for possession of the narcotic substance. Since he was found to reside in Osimo, Mr. The Police Commissioner of Ancona has ordered and signed the issue of a compulsory expulsion order against him, as he is considered a dangerous person for public order and safety pursuant to the legislation referred to in Legislative Decree 159/2011. The provision, notified today to personnel of the local Anti-Crime Police Division, will prevent the reported subject from returning to Ancona for two years.
