MARCHE – There will be 10 tourist Potes, i.e. territorial health emergency stations, which will be activated to deal with the significant flow of tourists arriving in the Marche during the summer period. This is established by a resolution of the regional council adopted on the proposal of the health department.
The number of stations has thus been increased compared to last year when 8 Potes were activated. There will be 5 tourist Potes of the MSI type (driver-rescuer and nurse) and 5 of the MSB type (driver-rescuer and rescuer): for the first once again the service will also be activated this year in Fiastra and in the mountainous area of the province of Macerata, being important holiday locations especially for foreign tourists. The Potes will be active in Gabicce Mare, in the Numana-Sirolo area, in Senigallia, in Fiastra, in the mountain area of Macerata, in San Elpidio a Mare, in Grottammare and Cupra Marittima. The organization of services and cost coverage fall within the budget assigned to the Ast. By strengthening the Potes in areas that register a significant influx of tourists “we want to offer a service not only to those who choose the Marche as a holiday destination, but also to residents”, we read in the note from the Region
