Nine projects designed by young people, and which will soon be realised, and a party to seal this new milestone, which will be held on Saturday 15 June at the former Caserma Cantore. The YouthBank project, promoted by the Piacenza and Vigevano Foundation to promote youth protagonism, it reaches a new milestone and is preparing to give life to the interventions that a group of under 25s have created (the youthplanners) and other peers have selected (the youthbankers). To support the projects, the Board of Directors of the organization announces an increase in the contribution.

“Initially we had set a ceiling of 30 thousand euros – informs the president of the Piacenza and Vigevano Foundation Roberto Reggi –, assuming that there would be around three or four worthy projects. However, the proposals received were much more numerous than expected and our bankers selected nine of them, all of which will be financed”.

The coordinator of the project Edoardo Favari, general councilor of the Foundation, is proud of how the YouthBankers have worked in recent months: “Thanks to their commitment to making the call known in schools, associations, even within the prison, the territory has received a participation much higher than expectations – he underlines -, repaying us for the efforts made along the way. So much so that we decided to celebrate the moment with a party, the “JOY Piacenza Party”, with live music and the public award ceremony of the projects that will now have to be implemented. The appointment is for Saturday 15 June at the former Cantore Barracks, free entry and open to all. I would like to extend special thanks to the associations and offices of the Foundation, which supported the YouthPlanners in carrying out the formal aspects of the grant request, for the formal presentation phase of the projects, which has just ended”.
