Viterbo – Violent fight in Piazza del Comune, the two young people are banned from entering public places in the province.
“In recent days, the police commissioner of Viterbo, Luigi Silipo, following a scrupulous investigative activity carried out by the state police personnel of the anti-crime division, adopted a ban on access to two Italian citizens, aged twenty-eight and twenty-two. public places in the province – announced by the offices in Viale Romiti in a note -.
The provision arose following an intervention carried out by the crews of the flying squad of the general prevention and public rescue office of the Viterbo police headquarters and the mobile unit of the Viterbo carabinieri company in Piazza del Plebiscito, following a report received at the single emergency number 112 of a violent argument between two people.
Once on site, the operators intercepted the two individuals who were creating havoc in the area and who, to escape checks, ranted at them with unrepeatable words to the point of physically attacking them. The two were then blocked also with the use of containment tools and for one of them it was necessary to resort to the intervention of the 118 staff. But when the medical workers came to the rescue, the man threatened them and, having got into the vehicle , damaged some instruments present on the ambulance.
The two, both with multiple convictions for crimes against property and drugs, were arrested for personal injury, resistance, violence and threatening a public official.
Furthermore, against them, already recipients of the prevention measure of the oral warning, considering that the criminal conduct carried out could result in a concrete and current danger for public safety, the commissioner’s measure was taken which will force them to remain for two years away from public places and public entertainment located in the province of Viterbo, as well as staying near them.
Failure to comply with the prevention measure is criminally punishable, pursuant to Law no. 173 of 2020, with imprisonment from one to three years and a fine from ten thousand to twenty-four thousand euros” concludes the note.
