However, he didn’t get away with it: after an investigation starting from the images immortalized by the video surveillance cameras, the person responsible for the damage to a Local Police vehicle was identified and reported at large.
The episode occurred in recent days, during the intervention of a Viserba patrol requested by the Radio Operations Center of the Local Police due to the parking of some vehicles on the cycle path in Via Emilia. While the officers were carrying out the ritual checks on the vehicles improperly parked on the cycle path, the customer of a public establishment in the area began to threaten and insult the officers, refusing to give his personal details. The man then waited for the officers to move away to damage the patrol vehicle, causing the consequent interruption of public service, the vehicle being removed by roadside assistance and the use of a further patrol to recover the officers who were left without the vehicle. .
But thanks to the acquisition of some video surveillance footage and an investigative activity carried out by the NOAC department staff, the perpetrator of the crimes was identified, tracked down and reported on the loose.
