«To those who ask me – continues the now former coach – if I was disappointed, I say no, no because I no longer expect anything from this world and when you don’t expect anything you accept whatever happens. Of course I would have liked to give continuity to the great work done in these two years, but then there are choices and it is normal that those in charge are free to make them. And choices must be accepted because that’s right. I leave, proud of having brought back an enthusiasm that hasn’t been seen in Ravenna for years. And in Ravenna, which I know well, it is not so obvious. I thank Curva Mero and all the fans for the affection and certificates of esteem they gave to my boys and my staff. I coached Ravenna in Serie D for two years, starting from the beginning, and I came first both times. I can step aside easily.
